To achieve this amazing target, employees across Yorkshire Water, its partner organisations and contract partners will be working together to create the gardens. Employees at Loop have already been digging in for the initiative and a team worked together to create a pilot garden at Princeville Primary School, Bradford.
The team involved transformed an area of the school playground from scratch into a working garden enabling children to be able to learn how to grow vegetables and flowers. Raised planting beds were built and installed and half of the planters were filled with vegetable seeds and half with flowers.

The garden gives the children an outdoor learning space where subjects can be brought to life. The children were delighted with their new garden and the team at Loop remain in contact with the school to provide ongoing support.
