Over the years we have taken part in various activities to raise money for this specialist charity but none so grand as the annual celebrations, organised by Loop employees to celebrate in style the end of Ramadam and Diwali.
In 2007, the celebrations saw Loop transformed to reflect the glitz and glamour of the Festival of Lights or Diwali as it is better known and 2008 saw the turn of ‘Chandi’ or Moonlight Bazaar which saw Loop transformed into the set of a Bollywood movie.
Both events gave Loop employees the opportunity to partake in traditional Asian activities such as henna painting, jewellery stalls. Employees also dressed in Asian outfits in a bid to win the prestigious awards of best dressed person and team.
Zoe Mason, head of customer service at Loop said: "The sucess of events like these are testament to the dedication and enthusiasm of the people who work at Loop. They are the ones who make Loop a great place to work by creating opportunities to work together and celebrate the diverse range of festivals and holidays whilst raising money for our supported charities."
