Eid & Diwali celebrations

Loop prides itself on employing a diverse and multicultural workforce, and encourages employees to get involved with and support different cultural occasions.

Each year to raise money for charity, Loop employees organise a grand Asian festival to celebrate in style the end of Eid and Diwali. This has seen Loop transformed to reflect the glitz and glamour of the festival of lights and also become a moonlight bazaar ‘chandi’ which saw the office dressed like the set of a Bollywood movie.

Employees throughout the business embrace the festivities and abandon their usual office attire for Bollywood outfits hoping for a chance to win the coveted best dressed person and team award. Other traditional activities such as henna painting take place along with jewellery stalls and a delicious Asian banquet.

Zoe Mason, head of customer service at Loop said: “The success of events like these are testament to the dedication and enthusiasm of the people who work at Loop. They are the ones who make Loop a great place to work by creating opportunities to work together and celebrate the diverse range of festivals and holidays whilst raising money for our supported charities.”

Shazia Tariq, Team Manager at Loop who helps organise the celebrations said: “The events and activities help make Loop a great place to work and really bring the contact centre alive. Everyone gets involved and thoroughly enjoys the day. Not many companies would give their employees the chance to celebrate like this.”

Through these celebrations we have raised money for the Pakistan Flood Appeal, WaterAid and Cancer Research.
