Working pattern:

The fact I’ve been here so long should speak volumes. I’m now in my 16th year at Loop and have always worked around my children’s school hours. I spread my work over four days and am flexible on when I start and finish, depending on how busy the school run traffic is.

As a customer care manager I deal with customers trying to resolve their issues or complaints and get a lot of satisfaction from turning and unhappy customer into a happy one. I speak to them on the phone, write to or email them as well as liaising with the other people within Loop or Yorkshire Water to get the answers to the queries and get any issues resolved.

I’ve worked in a variety of teams during my time at Loop, first taking payments, then arranging for meters to be installed as well as dealing with correspondence and complaints.

I love that I can still have a career here and yet it fits with my home life. I enjoy both the work and the lively people I work with and my hours fit with my family. What’s not to like?
