Loop’s Zoe Barron named a Utility Week ‘Star’ award finalist

Congratulations to Zoe Barron from Loop’s Key Customer Team who was nominated for a Utility Week ‘Star’ award by Paul Gill, Business Centre Team Leader and who has recently been named as a finalist.

The Stars Awards are a new awards ceremony to celebrate the vital contribution of front line and back office staff, recognising individuals and teams from energy and water businesses. They  look for the unsung heroes of utilities; the people who work overnight – and sometimes over Christmas – to deal with the fallout of extreme weather events; the back-office teams and dedicated customer service providers who go beyond the call of duty and make a real difference to peoples’ lives.

Zoe was entered for the awards for the way she handled a particularly delicate situation.  Paul says’ “Zoe was the ultimate professional in the way she handled the situation. She ensured everyone involved was supported all the way and went beyond what was expected of her. The end result was the issue was resolved in the best possible way for both the customers and for our client, Yorkshire Water.”

An expert team of judges will select the winners, and identify an overall “star of stars” who will be announced at a summer party on June 14th….good luck Zoe, we’ve got our fingers crossed for you!
