Wow! We’re shortlisted again!

WowWe’re delighted that Loop has been shortlisted for two national WOW awards – including Utility Of The Year for the second year running – and we’ve only been part of the scheme for three years.

The WOW Awards recognise great customer service and are based purely on customer feedback. Customers contact WOW directly to tell them about what great service participating companies have given or if customers contact us with praise we can forward these on.

But the awards are about more than great customer service, they are about making great the benchmark and giving awards for people and companies which go over and above that level.

Loop and Yorkshire Water are finalists in the “Ow to Wow!” and “Utility of the Year” categories and jetter Jason Gill from our sister company Yorkshire Water is a finalist in the “Most Inspiring Front Liner” category.

Two of Loop’s Customer Experience team – Laura Parratt and Jeanelle Hartley  – recently went to London to give a presentation to the WOW judges as part of the process. We’ll find out in November whether we’ve won the coveted Utility Of The Year trophy and are up against some tough competition from fellow water companies United Utilities and Welsh Water, but also energy company Scottish Power.

A spokesperson for Loop said: “We’re delighted that customers feel so strongly about the service they get from us that they choose to nominate us for  WOW! award. It’s testament to how hard all of the Loop team works, and also to our approach which puts the customer at the heart of all we do.”

So far this year people at Loop have received 506 nominations. And while not every nomination results in an award, the number is even more impressive when you realise that we don’t really promote WOW to our customers.
