Loop have entered the Best Companies accreditation this year, and we are pleased to announce, not only have we retained our 1 star rating from last year, but we have placed 49th/100 this year in the Top 100 Companies to work for in the UK! 

Alongside this we placed 32nd in the Regional lists, and 7th in the sector lists!

This is a huge achievement and we couldn't be prouder of this ranking, reflecting on how much of a great place to work Loop really is.

Investors In People (IIP) is a worldwide standard which is a recognition that an organisation looks to improve performance and achieve their business objectives through the management and development of its people.

There are 4 standards that can be awarded, Bronze (Developed) Silver (Established) Gold (Advanced) & Platinum (High Performing) Only 16% of businesses assessed against the IIP standard achieve the gold Standard and only 2% achieve platinum.

We are delighted to announce Loop have maintained their GOLD accreditation! Not only that, we have been identified as one of the Top 20 Gold Investors in People accredited employers in the UK!

It’s been another fantastic year for Loop, as we were once again recognised as a great place to work.

For the second year in a row, Loop was named one the of the best places to work across the country and the industry!

Following on from achieving our highest ever colleague engagement score in the summer – and retaining our Two Star Outstanding rating for a second year in a row – Loop went on to have a fantastic result at this year’s Best Companies awards night.

On the night we were named in the Top 10 Business Services companies for our sector. We also scored in the Top 50 companies in Yorkshire and the Humber, as well as making the Top 100 Best Large Companies in the country!

This year we were also named finalists in the European Contact Centre & Customer Service Awards (ECCCSA 2022). Loop made the top five in the 'Great Place To Work' category, ahead of companies from across 32 other countries and across multiple industries.

We couldn’t have achieved this without the amazing work of our colleagues – and we’re hoping for even more success in 2023.

We have recently entered the Forum awards, and had FOUR finalists’ categories!  

The Inspired Project, which is a project that sees a new coaching methodology rolled out to enable colleagues to become the best version of them, Vicky Horrocks, our Learning and Development Specialist, for her journey on being signed off to facilitate customer experience workshops at Loop, Julie Jowett, our Planning Team Manager, for her fantastic strategic planning skills and Sidra Ayaz, our Implementation Manager for her agile project management delivery of Inspired.

Loop has been awarded a two star award and deemed an outstanding company to work for, alongside being ranked number 10 in the sector  Best Companies to work for in the UK, and 41st in Yorkshire and Humber top companies to work for.

This is the highest score Loop have achieved since starting to enter the awards in 2006. To achieve this, in the middle of the Covid 19 pandemic, is an incredible achievement, and one we are immensely proud of.

Best Companies, recognises organisations that lead the way in creating engaging and exciting workplace for their colleagues. The final score is normalised for company size band and calculated out of 1000.

One of our Customer Support Managers was named as industry champion for vulnerability at the Utilities and Telecoms Awards, which celebrate excellence within credit and collections in sectors.
Angie Nock received the award for her work ensuring Yorkshire Water customers can access the help they need to pay their bills.

Speaking about Angie’s award win, Tim Sheer, Head of Billing and Collections, said: “Angie has led a shift from a traditional view of supporting vulnerable customers to seeing every customer as an individual with unique circumstances and tailoring our approach to suit that customers need through her ‘best for you’ approach.
“Her vision and ability to implement it has led to fundamental changes in how we support our customers who need it most. The award is well deserved and recognition for the passion and energy she has which motivates her team to be the best they can be and deliver the best outcomes for our customers.”

In 2020, more than 12,000 customers have also received a three-month payment holidays due to the financial implications of the Covid-19 pandemic, with additional support with bills provided at the end of the payment holiday if required.

Angie’s award was not the only win on the night, as we claimed the Best Conduct and Culture and Water Team of the Year – Collections categories.
